2N® SmartGate UMTS is a one-channel analogue UMTS gateway, which serves to reduce call costs. It also offers high-speed Internet access and the possibility of connecting in the so-called DialThru mode. What’s more, it is equipped with a backup power supply and provides features, such as 2N® Mobility Extension or a savings algorithm for call routing.

  • FIXED-LINE REPLACEMENT

    Take advantage of the 2N® SmartGate fixed line replacement. Anywhere a fixed line is not available or where its operation would not pay for itself.

  • FIXED-LINE BACKUP

    Use the gateway as a backup for your fixed lines thanks to the dial-through regime and having both types of ports available: FXS and FXO.

  • EASY INSTALLATION INCLUDING BACKUP POWER SUPPLY

    Thanks to the ‘plug & play’ solution you don’t have to wait for a fixed line to be put in, or to spend time on device configuration. In addition, you also get a power supply backup.

  • POWER SUPPLY BACKUP

    In case of main power supply outage, the gateway gets its power from the internal battery. This makes it resistant against the power outages.

  • 2N® MOBILITY EXTENSION

    Thanks to this service your mobile phone fully replaces an office fixed line. Whenever a call is coming in it rings at the same time.

  • DIALTHRU

    Thanks to the FXS and FXO ports the gateway can connect to the PBX/phone and at the same time retain the existing fixed-line.

  • SMS MONITORING

    The GSM/UMTS gateway can keep you informed via SMS about an outage of the main power, its coming on again, and the status of the backup batteries.

  • DATA TRANSFER

    Using the UMTS gateway gives you not only voice but also data transmission, as well as access to the Internet over the UMTS network.

  • AUTOMATIC DIALLING

    In the event of a long lasting pick-up of the handset without dialling a number, a predefined number is dialled automatically.

  • SMS INPUT

    The gateway can also be used for monitoring. On detecting a switching SMS input, it can send a predefined SMS to a specified number.

  • LCR – LEAST COST ROUTING

    The LCR algorithm always picks the cheapest route for outgoing calls, using the most economical SIM card for the connection.
