Each user can have their own access code, or several users can share one PIN. The unit is designed for indoor or outdoor installation.

REGULAR AUTOMATIC CALIBRATION
With regular automatic calibration, the unit reliably registers and evaluates each touch and prevents detection of unwanted or false touches (e.g. raindrops). -
SILENT ALARM
A unique code can be set on the unit that opens the door, but also triggers another action without warning the intruder, such as setting off an alarm at the building security control centre. -
TAMPER PROTECTION
2N® Access Unit Touch Keypad is equipped with a mechanical protective switch. As soon as anyone attempts to damage the unit mechanically, the switch is activated and an alarm is set off. -
SECURITY RELAY
This simple, additional device prevents interference with the lock connected to the access control unit to prevent unauthorized entry into the building. -
WEB INTERFACE ADMINISTRATION
Simply connect the access control unit to your LAN and everything can be set up via the intuitive web interface. -
ACOUSTIC AND VISUAL SIGNALLING
Each touch on the keypad and evaluation of the entered PIN is signaled acoustically. Acceptance or rejection of the PIN is also signaled visually.

NOTIFICATION OF INCORRECT PIN ENTRY
If anyone repeatedly enters an invalid PIN to gain entry to the building, the 2N® Access Unit Touch Keypad immediately alerts the administrator and blocks the keypad for a pre-set time. -
SIMPLE INSTALLATION
A single ethernet cable, Power over Ethernet, and the option to connect a lock, exit button, or door contact directly to the unit make installation very simple. -

Using the free 2N® Remote Configuration service, you quickly and easily set up and maintain 2N devices from the comfort of your office, without need to travel. Activate the service at My2N portal and use a VPN to remotely access a complete web interface of 2N intercoms and access units.
2N® ACCESS COMMANDER
2N® Access Commander is intuitive software for administration of your access system, IP intercoms and attendance system from 2N. It combines simple installation, intuitive control and a web browser interface. It is installed on a virtual server and allows access to the settings via any mobile device or desktop computer. This means there is no need for each user to install the app on his or her own computer.

The 2N® Network Scanner is a simple, freely available application for locating 2N IP intercoms in the network. After searching the network, the application shows the type, firmware version and IP address of all intercoms found on a chart.
