An IP access control unit equipped with the fingerprint reader. Thanks to its optical sensor, it provides maximum security, high reliability, and rapid fingerprint reading response. It works on indoor and outdoor installations under any weather conditions. To add a user’s fingerprint, you currently must use an external USB reader.
- Reliable optical technology
- Innovative and functional design
- False fingerprint detection
Features & Benefits
-
RELIABLE OPTICAL TECHNOLOGY
The fingerprint reader uses optical fingerprinting technology to read a fingerprint, ensuring reliable identification of the user when their finger is first applied to the reader. -
FALSE FINGERPRINT DETECTION
A fingerprint is a user’s unique identifier which cannot be stolen, but can be copied. Our access control unit can detect such fake fingerprints. -
ADDING NEW FINGERPRINTS
Loading a new fingerprint is crucially important for correct evaluation during real use. For this reason, the user must have their finger scanned three consecutive times to guarantee an optimum match. -
WEB INTERFACE ADMINISTRATION
Simply connect the access control unit to your LAN and everything can be set up via the intuitive web interface. -
MULTI-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION
Other expansion modules (an RFID reader, keypad, or Bluetooth) can be connected to the 2N® Access Unit Fingerprint Reader ensuring dual identification of users in areas with a high level of security. -
ACOUSTIC AND VISUAL SIGNALLING
Acoustic and visual LED signaling located directly above the sensor indicates the fingerprint reader’s status.
-
INNOVATIVE AND FUNCTIONAL DESIGN
The access control unit is designed so that you can simply place your finger on the sensor without the need to press it down unnaturally. -
2N® REMOTE CONFIGURATION
Save time and money for onsite support thanks to our free service. Access all your devices remotely via secured cloud connection. Fastest response to your customer’s requests. -
SIMPLE INSTALLATION
A single ethernet cable, Power over Ethernet, and the option to connect a lock, exit button, or door contact directly to the unit make installation very simple. -
TAMPER PROTECTION
2N® Access Unit Fingerprint Reader is equipped with a mechanical protective switch. As soon as anyone attempts to damage the unit mechanically, the switch is activated and an alarm is set off. -
SENSOR RESISTANT TO EXTERNAL FACTORS
Thanks to its mechanical properties, the fingerprint reader is designed for both indoor and outdoor installation.

2N® REMOTE CONFIGURATION
Attention: This is only a beta version of the service.
Using the free 2N® Remote Configuration service, you quickly and easily set up and maintain 2N devices from the comfort of your office, without need to travel. Activate the service at My2N portal and use a VPN to remotely access a complete web interface of 2N intercoms and access units.
2N® ACCESS COMMANDER
2N® Access Commander is intuitive software for administration of your access system, IP intercoms and attendance system from 2N. It combines simple installation, intuitive control and a web browser interface. It is installed on a virtual server and allows access to the settings via any mobile device or desktop computer. This means there is no need for each user to install the app on his or her own computer.
2N® NETWORK SCANNER
The 2N® Network Scanner is a simple, freely available application for locating 2N IP intercoms in the network. After searching the network, the application shows the type, firmware version and IP address of all intercoms found on a chart. This simplifies the administration and installation of intercom systems. Simply run the easy-to-use software to get immediate results.
